Estate Clearing
Deceased-estate and bereavement clearances handled with respect — full or partial, skips included.
One less burden at a hard time
Clearing a loved one’s home is one of the heaviest jobs a family faces — emotionally and physically. Pete’s estate clearing service lifts the physical half entirely: the family team clears the property fully or partially, room by room, shed and garage included, with the right skips (2m³ to 7m³ for general contents, 2m³ hardfill for any concrete, brick, tiles or clean soil) delivered and collected as part of the same booking.
As a family business run by Peter van Dorp since 2001, this work is done the way the team would want their own family treated: unhurried, careful with keepsakes and items set aside for relatives, and discreet with neighbours. Partial clearances are common — the family takes what matters, Pete’s crew takes the rest — and the property is left empty and tidy for sale, rental or handover.
What estate clearing covers
Complete contents removal: furniture and lounge suites, whiteware, beds and bedding, clothing, books, kitchenware, tools, shed and garage contents, plus section green waste and general junk. Anything the family flags as keep, donate or special-care is set aside untouched. Properties across Christchurch City — Hornby, Riccarton, Halswell, Sumner, Sockburn — and throughout Rolleston, Lincoln, Prebbleton, Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Woodend and Pegasus are all within the service area.
