7m³ Skip (general waste)
The biggest skip in the fleet — for whole-property clearances and major Christchurch clean-ups.
Maximum capacity for maximum mess
The 7m³ is the largest bin Pete hires out, and it exists for one reason: jobs where nothing smaller will do. Whole-property clearances, deceased estates with full sheds and garages, commercial-style clean-outs, flood or fire-damaged contents, and sections buried under years of accumulated rubbish and green waste. When the pile looks impossible, the 7m³ makes it a single organised load instead of a month of weekends.
Big bin doesn’t mean big-truck problems. Our trucks are smaller than standard gantry skip trucks, so even the 7m³ can be worked into driveways and accessways that surprise people — Pete has spent 20-plus years learning exactly which Christchurch streets, shared driveways and Selwyn properties can take a bin, and he’ll tell you honestly before you book. Rear doors across the full width mean the whole family (or Pete’s loading crew) can feed bulky items straight in.
What goes in a 7m³ general waste skip
General household, garden and light commercial waste at the largest scale: complete furniture lots, whiteware, mattresses, carpet and underlay, timber and gib, packaging mountains and green waste by the tonne. Hardfill stays out — concrete, brick, tiles and clean soil belong in the dedicated 2m³ hardfill skip. For mixed demolition-plus-rubbish jobs, ask Pete about running a hardfill bin alongside.

How booking works
Call 027 205 4877 (Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm) or email petesskips@gmail.com any time — weekends are by appointment. Walk Pete through the property and the access; he’ll confirm the 7m³, deliver from Hornby, and collect on your call when it’s full. Overwhelmed by the scale? Pair the bin with the estate clearing or skip loading service and the crew shoulders the work with you.
