6m³ Skip (general waste)
The big general waste skip for full house clean-ups, larger renovations and serious declutters.
When the job is bigger than a weekend
The 6m³ skip is built for the jobs that fill a trailer five times over: full house clean-ups, deceased-estate room lots, big renovation strip-outs, sleepout and garage demolitions, and sections that have collected years of green waste and junk. One 6m³ bin on the driveway beats a week of tip runs in the ute — you load once, Pete collects once, and the job is genuinely finished.
Even at this size, delivery stays nimble: our trucks are smaller than standard gantry skip trucks, so a 6m³ still goes places the big operators can’t — down long shared driveways, onto tight infill sections, and across Selwyn lifestyle blocks. And the rear doors swing open the full width of the bin, so two people can carry bulky furniture straight in without the awkward high lift.
What goes in a 6m³ general waste skip
General household, garden and light renovation waste at volume: full furniture suites, mattresses, carpet, timber, gib, packaging, toys, clothing and green waste by the trailer-load. The one thing it doesn’t take is hardfill — concrete, brick, tiles and clean soil go in the dedicated 2m³ hardfill skip. Mixed rubble-and-rubbish jobs are common; call Pete and he’ll advise whether one bin or a two-bin split is the honest answer.

How booking works
Call 027 205 4877 (Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm) or email petesskips@gmail.com any time — weekends are by appointment. Describe the clean-up and the access; Pete confirms the 6m³ is right, delivers from the Hornby base, and collects when a single call says you’re done. Facing a mountain you can’t face alone? Combine the bin with the house clearance or skip loading service and the crew does the heavy work.
