Single Item Rubbish Removal

Couches, whiteware and single bulky loads collected — no need to hire a whole skip.

Too big for the car, too small for a skip

Not every job needs a bin on the driveway. When it’s one dead couch, a broken washing machine, a single mattress, or the last bulky remainder of an otherwise finished clean-up, Pete’s single item rubbish removal collects just that item — the crew arrives, carries it out and takes it away, and you never hire a cubic metre you don’t need.

This is the service for the awkward in-between jobs: the fridge that died on a Sunday, the lounge suite the new one replaced, the kids’ trampoline skeleton, the garage freezer that finally gave up. If you can point at it, the team can shift it. And if your “single item” turns out to be half a garage once someone starts looking honestly, Pete will say so and price a 2m³ mini skip instead — the family would rather give you the right answer than the bigger invoice.

What single item collection covers

Single bulky household items across Christchurch and Selwyn: couches and armchairs, mattresses and bed bases, whiteware (fridges, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers), televisions and cabinets, bikes, mowers and general one-off junk. Collections run from the Hornby base across Christchurch City, Rolleston, Lincoln, Prebbleton, Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Woodend and Pegasus. Concrete, brick, tiles and clean soil travel separately in the 2m³ hardfill skip — mention rubble when you call.

Why book Pete’s team

  • Family-owned since 2001 with honest sizing advice
  • Compact trucks reach tight driveways and tricky access
  • Serving Christchurch City, Rolleston, Lincoln, Prebbleton, Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Woodend & Pegasus (Christchurch & Selwyn)

How booking works

Call 027 205 4877 (Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm) or email petesskips@gmail.com any time — weekends are by appointment. Describe the item and where it sits; Pete confirms collection and a time, the crew collects from inside the house or the kerb, and the item is gone the same visit. Photos by email or text help with an accurate answer first time.
