The 2m³ mini skip is the smallest bin in Pete’s fleet — and often the smartest choice. It swallows the contents of a single room clear-out, a garage corner tidy, a garden and green waste cut-back, or the offcuts and packaging from a small renovation, without paying for cubic metres you won’t fill. Because it is compact, it sits neatly on short or narrow driveways right across Christchurch, from Hornby and Sockburn to Sumner and the hill suburbs where access is always tight.
Every Christchurch Skip Hire bin — minis included — has rear doors that swing open, so heavy items walk straight in instead of being lifted over high steel sides. And because our trucks are smaller than standard gantry skip trucks, Pete can place your mini skip exactly where you want it: hard against the garage, down a shared driveway, or in spots the big trucks simply can’t reach.
What goes in a general waste mini skip
General household and garden rubbish: furniture, timber offcuts, garden and green waste, toys, clothing, small appliances, packaging and everyday junk from a declutter. If you are knocking out a bathroom or shifting concrete, brick, tiles or clean soil, ask instead about the dedicated 2m³ hardfill skip — hardfill loads must travel separately so they can be recycled as clean fill.

Describe what needs to go and where the bin needs to sit; Pete will confirm the 2m³ mini is the right fit, arrange delivery from the Hornby base, and collect it with one phone call when you are done.
