2m³ Hardfill Skip (concrete / brick / tiles / clean soil)
A dedicated hardfill bin for renovation rubble and clean soil — kept separate so it can be recycled as clean fill.
One bin, four materials — nothing else
The 2m³ hardfill skip takes exactly four things: concrete, brick, tiles and clean soil. That strictness is the whole point — clean, separated hardfill can be crushed and reused as fill instead of going to landfill, which keeps disposal honest and keeps your job compliant with what transfer stations accept. Bathroom rip-outs, chimney demolitions, patio and path removals, retaining-wall rebuilds and clean excavation soil all belong here.
Hardfill is heavy, so the bin is a compact 2m³ — sized so a full load stays within safe lifting limits for the truck. Delivery is by Pete’s compact trucks, smaller than standard gantry skip trucks, which matters on renovation sites where the driveway is half-blocked by the builder’s ute and materials. Rear doors swing open so wheelbarrows of rubble tip straight in.
What goes in — and what stays out
In: concrete chunks and slabs, bricks and blocks, ceramic tiles, pavers, and clean soil with no rubbish mixed through it. Out: timber, gib, green waste, general household rubbish, and anything hazardous. If your renovation produces both rubble and general waste — and most do — the standard answer is two bins: a 2m³ hardfill for the rubble and a general waste skip (2m³ to 7m³) for the rest. Call Pete and he’ll size the pair honestly.

How booking works
Call 027 205 4877 (Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm) or email petesskips@gmail.com any time — weekends are by appointment. Tell Pete what’s coming out (concrete? soil? a bit of both?) and he’ll confirm the hardfill bin suits, deliver from the Hornby base, and collect on your call. Rubble too heavy to shift yourself? The skip loading service puts the crew on the shovels with you.
